I am Beautiful?

Being a woman can often times be a full time job; nurturing, fighting for equal rights, cleaning, pregnancy, paying bills, bearing monthly menstrual cycles, battling girl on girl crime, being a single mother, domestic abuse, looking young, acting mature, overcoming heartbreaks and sexual assault and on top of it all we are suppose to find the time to be and feel beautiful.

Growing up, I used to cringe at the sound of the word ‘beautiful’ because I never thought that it applied to me. I didn’t feel comfortable in my own skin and I genuinely believed myself to be “too skinny” and resented myself for having acne and a crooked smile.

As woman, we are often left to battle the journey of self-love and acceptance on our own and ultimately find ourselves being crippled by our insecurities. I am Beautiful? Will help you uncover the truth and beauty behind all of your so-called flaws & imperfections and will let you know that you are not alone! It will have you discovering your TRU self-worth and help you start building the courage to unleash into the world, the beautiful person that you already are!

"This presentation really helped a lot. It really made me feel like myself again"

"You made me cry, you made me laugh and I loved your poems!"

"This was a great presentation and something that everyone needs to hear. And it needs to be spread out much more."

"As a girl, it was just nice to hear that I am beautiful, because it is not something we hear often. And it was nice to look around and see everyone stand up for the same flaws that we see in ourselves and to know that we are all in it together."
