​Julia Garcia is America's top young Author, Speaker, and TRU Entrepreneur! She is the founder of the TRU Movement Truality.org ; inspiring individuals from all walks of life to be TRU...The Real U.

Julia began her career at age 21 by developing an innovative method of communication to help redefine the way we empower todays' youth through promoting self, social, & cultural awareness.

By infusing the creative arts such as performance poetry, music, and skits, with, young, relatable speakers for students to identify with, she has restructured the way we build lasting and positive connections with one another. The TRU Movement was born.

By age 24, Julia published her first, groundbreaking book, Somewhere In Between, which takes you on her journey between the destructive person she used to be to the fearless leader she has now become. Her story explores the emotional journey of how she survived the loss of loved ones, her parents turmoltuous divorce, family addictions, sexual assault, as well as her own addictions to drugs and alcohol that ultimately led to the fight of her life, in rehab, when she was only 20 years old.

Now, at age 25, Julia Garcia is one of the most creative and influential voices of our generation. She received her BA in Communications from New York Institute of Technology, where she was also a scholar ahlete. She is currently working towards her PHD in Human Science with a concentration in Social Transformation from Saybrook University.

Through her hard work and passionate determination, she is continuously pushing the envelope and setting new standards of developing positive methods of growth for students to apply both on and off campuses. With her powerful presentations, interactive workshops and intense team building activities, she has worked with thousands of students across the country to believe in their TRU potential, believe in each other, and most importantly, to believe in themselves.
